Built for clinical recovery contexts
Rejuvenate is not a general sports supplement. It is formulated for the weeks when the body's physiological demands are at their highest — after surgery, through rehabilitation, or during intensive recovery from injury.
Post-surgical recovery
Orthopaedic, reconstructive, abdominal, and head and neck procedures — where tissue healing, circulation, and normal immune function are the priority in the weeks that follow.
Orthopaedic & soft-tissue injury
Muscle, tendon, and ligament injuries where consistent nutritional support during the healing phase may make a meaningful contribution.
Active clinical rehabilitation
Working through a structured physiotherapy or sports medicine programme and looking for evidence-backed nutritional support to complement it.
Performance athletes managing load
Supporting normal recovery processes during periods of high training volume, enforced rest, or injury management within a performance programme.
How Rejuvenate works
Rejuvenate targets the nitric oxide (NO) pathway — the mechanism the body uses to widen blood vessels, improve circulation, and deliver oxygen and nutrients to tissue that needs it. In recovery contexts, adequate tissue perfusion is the foundation of healing.
- 1 L-Arginine is the body's direct substrate for nitric oxide synthesis. But a significant proportion is broken down by the gut and liver before reaching the bloodstream — first-pass catabolism limits its effectiveness taken alone.
- 2 L-Citrulline bypasses this. Converted to arginine in the kidneys, it raises plasma arginine 27% more effectively per gram than arginine supplementation alone (Schwedhelm et al., 2008).
- 3 Turmeric (curcumin) targets the NF-κB inflammatory pathway to support the body's normal management of inflammation during recovery. The formula is finished with ginger juice and lime concentrate for palatability.
- 4 Together they support normal tissue perfusion, the body's natural collagen synthesis processes, and normal management of the inflammatory response during the recovery phase.
Supporting micronutrient complex
Contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of bones and cartilage
Contributes to normal muscle function and normal function of the immune system
Contributes to normal protein synthesis, the maintenance of normal skin, and the protection of cells from oxidative stress
Contributes to normal muscle function and a reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Supports the sleep quality during which cellular repair and tissue regeneration occur
What's inside — and why
Primary substrate for nitric oxide synthesis. Conditionally essential during physiological stress — surgery, injury, intensive recovery — when the body cannot synthesise enough to meet demand.
- 10 g matches the dose used in perioperative immunonutrition trials
- Collagen precursor via the ornithine–proline pathway
- Supports normal immune cell function during recovery
Converts to arginine in the kidneys, bypassing first-pass gut and liver catabolism. Raises plasma arginine 27% more effectively per gram than arginine supplementation alone.
- Extends and sustains the plasma arginine peak that arginine alone cannot maintain
- Delivered as citrulline malate for enhanced absorption
- No GI side effects at the doses used in Rejuvenate
Contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of bones, cartilage, and skin — the structural scaffolding that underpins tissue healing.
- Contributes to normal function of the immune system
- Contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress
- Contributes to a reduction of tiredness and fatigue
Cholecalciferol — the most bioavailable form of vitamin D. Contributes to normal muscle function and supports the immune system, both of which are directly relevant during recovery.
- Contributes to normal muscle function
- Contributes to normal function of the immune system
- Contributes to the maintenance of normal bones
A cofactor for matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) — the zinc-dependent enzymes that drive tissue remodelling across all three phases of wound healing. Post-surgical zinc depletion is common (27–68% depending on procedure type) and low leucocyte zinc correlates with wound complications.
- Contributes to normal protein synthesis and the maintenance of normal skin
- Contributes to normal function of the immune system
- Contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress
Delivered as magnesium malate — among the best-absorbed forms, with the malate anion also serving as a cofactor in mitochondrial ATP production. Hypomagnesaemia is found in 60–65% of post-operative patients. At 100 mg (27% NRV), this is a supportive dose addressing population-level depletion rather than a standalone therapeutic intervention.
- Contributes to normal muscle function and a reduction of tiredness and fatigue
- Supports sleep quality — the period during which cellular repair, immune recovery, and tissue regeneration are most active
- Contributes to normal protein synthesis
4:1 concentrated extract providing 3 g whole-root equivalent per shot. Curcumin targets the NF-κB inflammatory pathway to support the body's normal management of inflammation.
- Concentrated 4:1 extract for enhanced curcuminoid delivery
- Supports the body's normal inflammatory response during recovery
- May interact with anticoagulants — see Safety section
Fresh ginger juice and lime concentrate — present for flavour and palatability. Designed to make consistent daily use achievable, particularly when post-surgical appetite is reduced.
- Ginger-lime profile developed for easy consumption in a clinical recovery context
- No added sugar. No artificial flavours.

Umbrella meta-analysis of 41 randomised controlled trials examining arginine-containing nutritional support in surgical patients
Over 40,000 patients across the perioperative immunonutrition meta-analysis — the largest evidence base in this area
Citrulline raises plasma arginine 27% more effectively per gram than arginine alone — Schwedhelm et al., 2008
Evidence grades for each indication are published on the Research page. Perioperative wound healing evidence is rated High (●●●●); muscle recovery in athletic populations is rated Low–Moderate (●●○○).
Drink the whole shot
One full 150 ml shot per day. The active ingredient doses are calibrated to the complete volume — drink it all to get the full effect.
Consistent timing
Morning works well — it aligns with the body's overnight tissue repair cycle and makes the habit easier to maintain long-term.
Serving
Serve cold or at room temperature. Shake well before drinking. Best taken without food. Refrigerate after opening and consume promptly.
Consistency is everything
Daily use is what drives results. The clinical evidence is built on consistent supplementation — missing days breaks the physiological continuity the formula depends on.

Frequently asked
No. Rejuvenate is a food supplement regulated under the Food Supplements (England) Regulations 2003. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. If you have a medical condition, consult your clinician before use.
Clinical evidence for immunonutrition supports use both before and after surgical procedures. For post-operative use, your surgical team is best placed to advise on the appropriate start point. Do not start any new supplement in the immediate post-operative period without checking with your clinical team first.
Always consult your clinician if you are on prescription medication. Key consideration: turmeric at supplemental doses may interact with anticoagulants (e.g. warfarin). See the Safety section below for the full list of relevant interactions and upper-level guidance for zinc and vitamin D.
The 10 g L-Arginine + 3 g L-Citrulline dose alone would require approximately 20–30 standard capsules per daily dose. Add Vitamin C (200 mg), Vitamin D3 (25 µg), Zinc (15 mg), Magnesium (100 mg), and turmeric extract, and the capsule count becomes impractical. The 150 ml shot delivers the complete formula in a single serve, and is designed to remain palatable even when post-surgical appetite is reduced.
Most sports recovery products are protein-and-carbohydrate focused, designed for glycogen replenishment after exercise. Rejuvenate targets a different set of mechanisms entirely: the nitric oxide pathway for tissue perfusion, Vitamin C for collagen synthesis, Vitamin D3 for muscle function, Zinc for protein synthesis and immune support, and Magnesium for muscle function and fatigue reduction. These are the mechanisms most relevant in the weeks after surgery or significant injury — not after a training session. Rejuvenate is a recovery product, not a performance product.
Rejuvenate contains eight active ingredients, all at meaningful doses: 10 g L-Arginine, 3 g L-Citrulline (from citrulline malate), 200 mg Vitamin C (250% NRV), 25 µg Vitamin D3 (500% NRV), 15 mg Zinc (150% NRV), 100 mg Magnesium from magnesium malate (27% NRV), and a 4:1 turmeric extract. Achieving those doses — particularly the amino acid base — in a ready-to-drink format has a different cost profile to a commodity powder or capsule. The price reflects what is actually in the shot.
Important safety information
⚠ Key precautions
- Anticoagulants or antiplatelet drugs (e.g. warfarin, aspirin, clopidogrel) — turmeric at supplemental doses may potentiate blood-thinning effects. Consult your prescriber before use.
- PDE5 inhibitors or nitrate medications (e.g. sildenafil, GTN spray) — arginine and citrulline act on the same nitric oxide pathway. Combining these may cause excessive blood pressure reduction.
- Vitamin D or zinc supplements — this product provides 25 µg Vitamin D3 (UK upper level 100 µg/day) and 15 mg Zinc (UK upper level 25 mg/day). Check your combined daily intake.
- Pregnant, breastfeeding, taking prescription medication, or immunocompromised — consult your healthcare professional before use.
